Personal:

I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

This time of year (Jan-Feb) always takes a toll on my workout routine.  It is officially league play for basketball and my Dad's team switched up to a SLC region this year which means even more travel and more late nights.  I just do not do well on little sleep.

I slept in a bit and did some weights at home.  100 pushups and a little bit of shoulders with my 10lb weights.  Then hit the gym for 7 miles at an easy pace.  I have a small twinge in my right shin so I kept it really slow today.  I was half asleep and felt pretty fatigued but I put the miles in. :)

Great post from Cecily Lew (winner of the des news 10k) about dealing with injury.  http://www.rerunrunning.com/2012/01/looking-for-positives/#comment-12716

PM:  2 miles nice and easy with the pup.  8:41 pace.  Only two doggie stops today. :)

Glad you took it easy after a killer workout yesterday.

I do terribly without enough sleep as well...hope the traveling doesn't mess up with your schedule too much!

Rachelle you'll be pleased to know that your "Boston Boston Boston" comment the other day got me to stop debating it... I emailed the BAA to see if I can get an entry... wheels are in motion now :-)

Jake - That is awesome I knew you would crack at some point if I kept bugging you about it. :) Now the key is sneaking Andrea in to pace me. Work on that one next k?

Alright that will be my next step :-)
