5 miles nice and easy. Wore my Mirages and my foot feels about 75% better. I am assuming I either hit a nerve funny and irritated it or it was just the Kinvaras and the jarring of the downhill. Either way I am glad I felt better today.
My plan for the 10k tomorrow originally was to run half marathon pace. New plan is marathon pace. If I feel good after the first 3 miles and have no foot pain I will reasses. Since my hard workout for tomorrow is 6 miles at MP tempo the 10k fits right into that plan. :) I just really feel like I need to be smart and stay healthy in these last two weeks before the marathon and considering the foot pain I had Sat racing does not really seem smart.
PM: 2 miles easy. After a huge breakfast followed by a long nap, followed by a huge lunch and another nap I felt like the laziest person alive! So I ran 2 miles to work up an appetite for my huge dinner. ha! I love Sundays. |
