Personal:

I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

30 minutes full body weights.  My arms are turning into noodles with my lack of lifting lately. haha

7.1 easy, boring miles on the treadmill.  2% incline.  I have a cold, or allergies, or both?  Stupid freaking hay fever!!

PM:  And I officially have a cold.  Wa, wa, wa!!  Better now than the week of the marathon I guess, and this is what I get for babysitting sick kids all day Tuesday.  I should have seen it coming.  Anyway ran from my house to the city building to drop off the city bill and then up to Walgreens to buy some cold medicine.  5.5 mile round trip but I stopped and walked the last half mile because I felt like crud!  I was planning to do my LR tomorrow.  I really like getting it done on Friday but now I am trying to decide.  I guess we'll see how I feel in the morning.

Anyone running long this weekend in Ut county?  15-17miles?

hate allergies. mine usually come on strongest in the fall, but they stink anytime!!

nice recovery run today. hope that slurpee helped fuel you well :)

You totally deserved the slurpee yesterday. If this was a recovery run, what's with the incline? Next time go for -2%.

ahhh bummer - but better now than in 2 weeks. keep the intensity lower for a couple days, you can get the miles in, but don't put yourself in a recovery hole.

I will run with you Saturday Rachelle-- I can try and force myself to keep up with you : D. Remember it is not in me to slow anyone down. Where do you want to run, up down Provo Canyon? Easy up last four fast (my fast is probably you tempo pace).

From Rachelle on Thu, May 24, 2012 at 21:20:43 from 66.7.127.115

Alright sounds good Julie!! Lets go kind of early before the winds pick up too much. And then we can probably make it back in time to watch jake and whoever else is running finish the 10k. It finishes right close to Provo Canyon I think.

I have no real plan for the run. The last 4 at marathon pace if I am feeling good and if not I am just happy with a nice 8:30 pace LR...you know how I roll. :)

I sure as heck will not be running 23 miles like Kim and Jane did this week. They are nuts!!

From JulieC on Thu, May 24, 2012 at 22:07:21 from 67.41.188.232

we should meet at the Riverwoods/theatres and run up 8 miles (adding up south fork) and then come down. What time do you want to leave. Any time is fine with me-- early is always good for me. : D. 630am??? or 6am?

btw it is light out when I am driving to work at 540am.
