Personal:

I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

4.5 easy Santaquin loop by myself.  I was planning on being done but the pup was waiting at the door begging to go out so I added .7 with her.  She has a lot of pent up energy this week because shes been home alone more and it's been too dang hot at night to take her out as much as I used to.  It seemed humid out this morning.  I have no idea if it actually was but it sure felt like it.

20 minutes weights at home.

Goals for tomorrow:

C:  sub-1:35  Should happen unless I completely fall apart and let the course get to me.

B:  1:33:30

A:  1:31:59  This is what Mr. McMillan tells me I'm capable of based on my UVM time.

I have a really hard time with gradual uphill running, I'd take rollers anyday over the gradual uphill so this should be interesting.

30% humidity today which is high for us that are used to no humidity. I won't be surprised to see you beat your A goal. Good luck tomorrow.

Gradual uphill can be really tough. You have to fight just a bit harder to keep a pace that "should" feel right, and that can be mentally really hard. Although remember those NON-gradual uphills towards the end of that little race in Boston? You seemed to handle those pretty well!

I think the most important aspect about the race tomorrow is not killing yourself on the uphills so you can really take advantage of the downhill on miles 12 and 13!

1:31! You can do it. Your training has been awesome lately. Good luck tomorrow.

Good luck Rachelle!! I am excited for you. Just ease back a little on the uphills and burn it downhill. You are so under 1:31:59. : D.

Andy - if it was only 30% today I might die at the race tomorrow because it is predicting 67%!! Crap.

Thanks so much to everyone else for your kind comments. It really means a lot to me to know that so many of you believe in me. Now do any of you want to come bike next to me and keep me hydrated. hehe jk!
