Personal:

I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

6.6 mi orchard loop with Jen, 7:24 pace.  I am feeling so much better today, thank goodness.  It is amazing what an entire day of sleeping and a full sleeve of soda crackers will do!  I think yesterday was quite likely the most unproductive day of my life.  I did read a book and watch 4 episodes of Kourtney & Kim take Miama!  Having the stomach flu is not fun at all.

25 min strength training at home

I am supposed to pace 1:35 at Riverton tomorrow so I need to make sure I get plenty of fluids and calories in me today.

PM:  3 miles with the pups in a windy blizzardy, snowy mess.  .5 with Izzy dog (she was being a total pansie and it was too cold to force her to run) and 2.5 with Skippy dog.  8:30 pace.

I almost felt like I had a stomach flu this morning. Not nearly as bad as you had it though.

50 miles this week with the flu? Holy smokes girl, you need a few more unproductive days to feel better. I am sorry you aren't feeling that great. Wish you were pacing me at Riverton tomorrow, that is a dang quick pace for that course.

Glad to see you're feeling better. Have fun pacing tomorrow!

That sounds like one heck of a productive day to me!! I'm glad you are feeling better. Great pace after being so sick the day before. Enjoy pacing the half tomorrow!

Well i m sure the pace will be easy for u. 7:24 right? Or is it 7:18? Sorry..did tbis once and cant remember. Ok...so glad the 24 hour flu was just that....24 hours. :)

Thanks so much everyone. Yesterday was my first time ever calling into work sick (for actually being sick) in the 7 years I've worked for Intermountain Healthcare!

Julie - it is actually 7:15 pace which shouldn't make me nervous but is scaring the heck out of me. I think just because I know how awful the course is and my energy is not up to par at all. Hopefully I'm feeling 100% by tomorrow.

Way to kick that flu bug in the butt! Good luck with the pacing. Smart move taking the day off. The rest did ya good!
