Last chance progressive tempo workout before the half on Saturday. I think I needed more of a confidence boost than anything. The capability to run sub-7 pace for 13 miles I believe is there but I just need to believe in myself. 2mi warmup and then I started the workout. 6:59, 6:42, 6:35, 6:25. This felt hard but that 6:25 mile is 35 seconds faster than the pace I want to maintain on Saturday so I think I can do it.

Back to the daily grind today after 5 days off of work.
PM: Came home in such a bad mood. Work drama, finals week in school, and my dam cable has been out since last Wednesday...so frustrating! I hate to admit this but I am freaking addicted to cable. Anyway the point of my ranting on the internet is that jogging 2 miles completely changed my mood. Thank goodness for running! |
