Worked biceps, core, and did 100 pushups.

8 miles on the treadmill.  I bumped up the speed a notch each mile and finished with a 7:24 mile.  My calves are sore from walking 6 miles yesterday and I got a sunburn. ha ha a sunburn on January 29th......seriously?

PM:  2 miles easy.  My right foot is killing me.  what the?  I thought maybe it was just my shoes or something this morning but nope still there.  It is the bottom of the foot and almost feels like my shoes are just too tight or something.  I am icing and praying it feels ok in the morning.

I've gotten some BAD sunburns during the winter - when you're up in the snow @ 10K feet, the sun can destroy you if you aren't covered in sunscreen :-)

That is crazy! Where you on the Mnts?

You and those push ups. Wowza Rachelle!

Winter sunburns, love them. Especially with ski goggle marks.

Nice job on the workout today! 10 push ups, you are the champ! And your treadmill run sounds quite familiar...I think we all do that to pass the time!

What part of the foot is hurting? Heel or forefoot?

From Rachelle on Mon, Jan 30, 2012 at 20:55:47 from 66.7.127.115

Not the heel it is the inner forefront of the right foot. I am a mild pronator and have been rotating between neutral and stability shoes and am wondering if that may be the issue. I may just need to stick to stability.

All of my shoes have quite a few miles so I am going to try out a new pair tomorrow and see if that makes a difference.

Hmmm interesting. It sort of came out of nowhere? Is this the same side that you were having shin pain on?

I would caution against doing any faster running tomorrow. Give it an easy day to see how it feels, and if its back to normal, you can always do some faster paced running Wed and Fri this week.

Andrea wants to add in that if you can feel it being bothersome when you wake up while just walking around, you might want to x-train... don't take any chances and let it explode into something bigger.

From Rachelle on Mon, Jan 30, 2012 at 22:23:53 from 66.7.127.115

Yes it is very odd. I noticed it a bit this morning but a lot this afternoon. Nothin before today and yes it is the same side as the shin that has been bothering me.

Thanks for your feedback and I will definitely take it easy tomorrow. I'm hoping it's just something random and I wake up and feel better.

From Jake K on Mon, Jan 30, 2012 at 22:35:43 from 67.177.21.60

I hope that it goes away too! Could just be something weird and random - these things happen. Get a good night of sleep and hope for the best :-)

Rachelle, EASY MEANS EASY!!!!! I should like to see a 9 minute + opening mile to check the foot out!! No rush. : D. Are your shoes tight? I wonder if your feet are just swollen from the race in the artic (stress) and once the swelling goes down the shoes will feel better and not put pressure where pressure usually isn't, if that makes sense. SO EASY DAY GIRL, EASY!! :D.

From Kelli on Tue, Jan 31, 2012 at 18:10:30 from 71.219.85.126

I am the Queen (drama Queen) of weird and random! I hear ya! I hope it feels better QUICK! An easy day (or day off) is sometimes all it takes.
