Personal:

I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

100 pushups & planks.  Just to clarify I do not do 100 pushups all at once. ha ha I wish I was that cool.  I usually do 5 sets of 20 with 60 second front planks and 30 second side planks in between sets.

8 miles on the treadmill easy.  I bumped the speed up 1 notch every 10 minutes and alternated the incline between 2-3%.

I never saw you when I was lifting. What time did you get there today? I think you've dropped some lbs's. How did you do it? :)

Lily- I got to the gym at 6. I am not an early riser like the hardcore 4:30 crew. :)

I have lost a little bit of weight. I am in a "Get Fit" competition with a bunch of friends and that has definitely helped. I have also basically cut processed food out of my diet and started eating cleaner. And training for a marathon probably helps too.

Nice workout Rachelle! We must've been on the same plan today :) planks and pushups and increasing the pace, I just didn't get to change my incline. I love your workouts! Hope I get to run with you guys soon. Are you doing AF canyon in a couple weeks?

Sets of 20 is really good. That's what I try to do - 20-25 at a time, and then once I get too tired, cut it down to sets of 10-15 until I hit 100 :-)
