Personal:

I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

Had the opportunity to pace my friend Emily for the last 18 miles of the Phoenix marathon.  It was such an awesome day and I am so glad I got to be there.  She ended up finishing in 3:17 which was a PR for her.  I am really happy with the way I held up for the 18 miles.  I felt really great the entire time and was able to focus 100% on Emily.

Definitely feeling the marathon itch after talking to everyone after the race!  The course was awesome and I would love to run it next year.

The only problem with this marathon is the training through the winter but if we had a mild one it would be fun to try.

Awesome job, Emily!! 18 miles after your half! Girl, it's sounding more and more like your legs are back. I bet it felt great! What another lovely weekend in AZ!

What a nice friend you are. I agree with Jackie, sounds like you are recovering quite nicely. Good for you!

Wow, Rachelle! Impressive miles. You're an awesome friend to head down there to pace her.
