Personal:

I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

9 miles easy, 7:50 pace.  Felt great!

I just figured out while running this morning that the pace I ran yesterday for the 5K (6:16) is the pace I would need to run for 26.2 miles to OTQ.  I think it is possible.  Not in the near future but maybe some day?

I'm glad you're feeling good and new goals always help me be motivated! :)

You know, a little over a year ago, Andrea and I ran a 5K and were THRILLED with our times (15:45 and 17:52). 6 months later were were running half-marathons at faster paces. Big goals are good to have. It might not come easy, but having big dreams keeps the fire burning and keeps you moving forward. You have to still appreciate all the small steps along the way. That's essential, and you do a great job of that. There's nothing that you've done to suggest it isn't a possibility... someday... you've got at least 3 years! :-) With your improvement curve over the past 1-2 years... jeez, why not?!?!

I like that goal. I'm just so inspired by your 90 mile week. I just am!

I like your thinking. It's great to plant the seed of possibility and then watch the mind and body respond.

Excellent milage last week. You kicked my butt! :-)

Jake's right, appreciate the small steps along the way. Stay healthy and find ways to keep the fire burning.
