I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

I have a new addiction for slurpees! There's a 7-11 that's walking distance from work and it's all I can do to not go there every day! I thought you might understand...

haha I totally understand. I have to limit myself to two slurpees per week but last week I won a buy 1 get 1 free so this week I think I get 4! :) The new cherry limeade flavor is especially addicting...

I hate the fading sunlight...makes me cold just thinking about fall :(

Oh, heaven help me...slurpees are where it is at. My hubby prefers icees and I think he's CRAZY! The cherry limeade is magnificent!

Nice job on your run!

I hate that the sun is rising later, makes me sad :( I do look forward to changing leaves though...

When you OTQ I will buy you 10 of the big slurpees. Okay ... 20! :) :) :)

You are amazing!!

Hmmm maybe I steered you in the wrong direction about the high heels...

I should probably give up any goals of improving my marathon time and just train specifically for the Stiletto dash! :)

I read somewhere (not sure if if was your blog or someone else's), but you mentioned you were taking iron and vitamin B. Do you just take an over the counter pill or do you get something fancy from a GNC/health food store?

From Rachelle on Tue, Aug 14, 2012 at 21:43:47 from 66.7.127.115

Toby - I just get the Super B Complex at costco. My Mom got me the iron pills at her work (she works at a clinic) but I do not think they are anything fancy. 325 miligrams of ferritin....I think. It is funny because I have always been against taking pills (mostly just because I am lazy and forget) but I was feeling really low on energy and fatigued after Boston. My Mom forced me onto a cocktail of multivitamin, B complex, and iron and I have no hard evidence that it did anything but I do know my energy has felt 100 times better!
