Back to back stacked workouts.  This is not something I do often but every once in while I do think it serves a purpose.  Met a huge group of girls at Salem pond for the workout.  I was honestly kinda wiped out from the start today but I figured a hard effort on tired legs is good every once in awhile right...

2.25 mi wu.  400 meter sprint around the pond + 5 x 200 hill sprints with equal recovery.  Repeated this twice and then added 2 x 400 to finish.  2.25 mile cooldown.  9 miles total.  Wobbly legs and sore feets.  This workout seriously kicked my butt.  Hill sprints are hard!

I've forgotten how to sprint! That sounds incredibly hard. If you would have asked me three months ago if I'd rather do your workout or a long tempo, I would pick the sprints. Now, I choose the tempo! Awesome job.

I think you're right about the workouts on tired legs. Had to be good for something. Great workout. 200!m hill sprints? That'd be why they were hard!

Rachelle, Jen had us do about the same workout you girls did on Tuesday. Very tough! That Murdock trail run sounds great!!!
