Short-Term Running Goals: My goal is to continue to enjoy running and maybe get faster a long the way! :) Long-Term Running Goals: Run until I am 100 years old! Personal: I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences. I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn. I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University. | AM: 10 miles with Julia & Janae mostly on pipeline trail, 9:13 pace. Windy again.
PM: 3 miles + strides on SF river trail, 8:01 pace.

| 3 x 2 mile workout with Jen, Amber, and Melissa on the Orchard loop in Payson. This route is tough because it starts/finishes on gradual uphills. But the consistency is nice. We were all kind of tanked after the first 2 sets so we skipped the half mile uphill on the last set and just did 1.5.

11 total, 7:10 pace. Jen dropped me hard on every single set. She is in GREAT shape and I'm so excited for her to race Grandmas.

| 9 miles in the orchards with Jen & Amber, 7:29 pace. Plan was 10 x 1 min on/off. I was completely falling off the pace and feeling toasted after 8 so I called that good. My fast twitch muscles are learning to fire this week with all the chasing after Jen hughes I've been doing. That said I need to be smart and am glad I pulled the plug.

| 17 miles in Hobble Creek Canyon with Jen, Rebecca, and Janae. I did a 6 mile tempo on the way down the canyon 6:22, 6:16, 6:15, 6:14, 6:13, 6:13. I wanted more tempo miles but I was pushing the pace a bit on the last mile so I called it good with 6. Not really a great run for me. I was feeling fatigued but I got some really good training in last week and was running on pretty tired legs.
