Personal:

I decided to join to hold myself accountable for my training and because I love learning from others running experiences.  I just started running a little over a year ago and have a lot to learn.  I work fulltime as a Manager of Telecommunications for Intermountain Healthcare and go to school online through Weber State University.  If you want to know more check out my blog: www.runningfortrevor.blogspot.com

I wanted to try a little speedwork today since I have rebounded really quickly from the half saturday so I started with a longer warmup just to make sure that all bodily parts were functioning properly and then went into fast/slow mile repeats.  fast miles were 7:03, 6:58, 6:58, 6:53.  Nothing to wild and crazy but they felt controlled and good.  Overall I felt great and am happy with the way my body has responded to the higher mileage and harder effort on Saturday.  I finished this workout knowing I could have pushed harder and that was a good feeling.

PM:  3 miles easy.

Good workout, nice cutdowns - I think you did the perfect amount - enough to get the right training stimulus, but not too much to be a drain and require a ton of recovery.

HUH, those speed never fell controlled for me. NEVER! Flip, I suck. ;o)

Great job again Rachelle. I read your posts on Paul Fulton's phone while we were BBQing in the wind in Moab. I was so happy Saturday went so well-BEST birthday present ever.
